Share your GREATNESS!!

Yearly,   the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide group provides assistance to thousands of taxpayers in your area.  We provide free tax services for  members of our communities  that are 50+ and also to  those neighbors of  low to moderate income.

We are currently seeking volunteers for the upcoming tax season to fill the roles of  tax counselors  and client facilitators.  Bilingual volunteers are also needed (especially speakers of both Spanish and English).

Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of four hours per week from February 1 to April 15.   No previous experience is necessary.

In January,  volunteers will attend a comprehensive five-day training course leading to  IRS certification on tax law, tax forms and the software needed to prepare and electronically file income tax returns.
